> Hello Brothers,
> Hope this email finds you all well. If you are looking at our Trestle Board, there is an error. It shows that we resume our Temple Board meetings this Wednesday, but we won’t start those meetings until next month. This Wednesday we will have our usual Fellowship. Sorry I was not able to participate in the Temple cleanup this past Saturday. I was hospitalized with a blood clot in my leg. When they did a cat scan of my lungs, they also found many clots there as well. I’m home now, but have to take it easy for awhile and take blood thinners. >

> Hello brothers,
> Hope you all are doing well as the summer winds down. Just a quick update on me: I had my knee surgery last Tuesday and have been working from home. I finally got out of the house yesterday for the first time and am still having trouble walking – even with a cane (thanks Sam!). I’m working from home still, but hope to get into the office sometime this week. Anyway, not much going on at Lodge this week – our usual fellowship time this Wednesday, and then on Saturday (the 16th) we will have our Temple Cleaning day. We will meet at 3pm to do a thorough cleaning and some maintenance in and around the temple. Please try to be there – many hands will make the work easier! >

> Hello brothers!
> I hope this email finds all of you well and you are enjoying the summer – it’s fast coming to and end. Boy, is it flying by! Please remember Br. Rodney Griner in your thoughts and prayers this week as he is recovering from surgery. He’s had a lot of physical trials lately and we need to support our brother. How about dropping him a line or making a phone call? Also, I will be out of commission for awhile as I am having knee surgery tomorrow to repair a torn meniscus – so much for my globetrotting days! Not much else going on this week, other than fellowship on Wednesday. >

> Greetings from Germany!
> Hopefully, this email finds all my brothers well. I’m in Germany this week on business, so I won’t be at fellowship this week. BUT, remember our Country Breakfast this Saturday from 7-10. Enjoy the summer, Brothers! >

> Hello Brothers!
> I hope you are all enjoying the great summer weather we are having. Myself, WB Gene, and Kenny attended the outdoor degree last Friday at Calder Farms, and it was very good. It turned out to be an EA degree, instead of a MM degree, but was still good. The owner of the farm, John Calder is a Brother at Lincoln Park and we chatted with him quite a while. I told him he was welcome at our lodge anytime. We don’t have much going on in the next couple of weeks, other than Fellowship on Wednesday evenings. >

Outdoor Degree tonight July 2014

>
> Hello brothers,
> Sorry for the late notice, but I found out about this Wednesday at our fellowship, and neglected to send out a mail yesterday. Lincoln Park Lodge will be putting on an outdoor degree at Calder Dairy Farm in Carleton tonight. Dinner at 7pm and degree (3rd) to follow. I hope I have the time right! I’m planning to go, so I hope to see some of you there. >

> Hello Brothers!
> It’s been awhile since I sent out any communication. I’ve been “out of pocket” as they say for 3 weeks. First to Germany, then to Myrtle Beach, then last week to Scout Camp with my son.
> If you have been looking at the Trestle Board, you will have noticed that we have Temple Cleaning this Wednesday, but at the last Temple Board meeting, we decided to change this to Saturday, August 16th. We will still have fellowship every Wednesday throughout the summer weeks though, so come on down for some coffee and maybe a euchre game or two. >

> Greetings from Germany!
> It’s already afternoon here, so it seems like I’m sending this later than usual, but not to you! We are officially dark now for the summer, but there are a couple of important dates I need to make you aware of. On July 4th, we will have our Family Fire Works at the temple. Bring the whole family out for some good food and fellowship, and of course fireworks! Also, we have set the date for our annual Temple cleanup day – that will be the 16th of August. The more hands, the lighter the work!
> On a sad note, Brother James Albain passed away yesterday. It is unknown at this time if a Masonic service will be requested, but we will keep you informed. >

> Good morning Brothers!
> I trust you all had a nice relaxing Father’s Day yesterday. I got a chance to spend some quality time with my son at the Motor Muster car show at The Henry Ford Greenfield Village – always a good time. Thanks go to Brian who filled in for me at our regular communication last week while I was away on business. This week will be our last Temple Board meeting before the summer. We will continue to have our Country Breakfast the first Saturday during the summer months, as well as fellowship on Wednesday nights, so don’t be a stranger. Also, I mentioned last week that Thistle Lodge in Amherstburg will be having a Master Mason degree on the 24th (next Tuesday). I was planning to go and take anybody wishing to tag along, but unfortunately, I will be out of the country again on business. But, if anyone would like to go, please do so – it is very interesting to see their degrees – much different than ours! >

> Hello Brothers!
> I trust you all had a good and productive weekend. We had a great turnout on Saturday for our Country Breakfast – thanks to all who work to make that happen! This Wednesday (6/11) will be our last regular communication before we go dark for the summer. We will still have fellowship every Wednesday of course, so keep that in mind. Next week will be our last Temple Board meeting before summer as well. I hope everyone can make it Wednesday – I unfortunately will be returning from a business trip to Canada, so I will not be able to make it. Speaking of Canada, Thistle Lodge will be putting on a 3rd Degree on Tuesday 6/24 at 8pm. I am planning to go to this, so if anybody else would like to go, let me know and we can meet at the Temple to car pool. You must have a passport or enhanced license to cross the border. >
