Funeral Arrangements Frank Breeding

>
> Hello Brothers!
> Once again I am sad to report that one of our Brothers has passed. Bro. Frank Breeding, who would have been a Mason 60 years at the end of this month, passed on Saturday. His Masonic service will be on Wednesday at 6:30 at Rupp Funeral Home, so please be there by 6:15. We will have to again delay (~7:15) our opening for our scheduled EA degree this Wednesday to accommodate the service. Just a reminder that I will be out of the country on business, so W. Bro. John Trout will be filling in for me as Master. Next week (3/12) is our regular communication – dinner at 6pm and open at 7pm. >

Funeral Arrangements for Clayton

>
> Hello Brothers,
> I just got a call from Bacarella, and here are the details: >
> Visitation Wednesday, 4-8pm
> Eastern Star memorial service 6:30
> Masonic service 6:45
>
> Now I know that this conflicts with our scheduled Red Coat degree, but I feel we need to make an exception in this case and delay our start time this Wednesday. Our service usually lasts about 15 minutes, so we should be done by 7:00. If we show up early at the funeral home to visit and show our respects, then we should be able to leave right after the service and get to the lodge at 7:30 (7:45 latest) for opening. W. Bro. Clayton was a dear brother, and I’m sure I can count on everyone for a good turnout. Please start the fannout call list, if you see your person is not on this email. >

This week at Monroe 27 Feb 2014

>
> Hello brothers!
> This Wednesday (2/26) we will be conducting a Fellowcraft degree, put on by our Red Coats. Don’t miss it – we will have multiple candidates! This Saturday (3/1) is our famous (or infamous) Country Breakfast from 7am to 10am – all you care to eat! Next week, on 3/5 we will be conducting an EA degree, complete with the Chamber of Reflection. Unfortunately, I will be out of town for this one, but W. Bro. John Trout will take the reins and perform the degree.
> On a sad note, I regret to inform you that our dear brother, W. Bro. Clayton Heiss passed on Saturday the 22nd. Clayton was a Mason for more than 63 years, served as Secretary for our lodge for many years, was Master of Blanchard lodge, and was very active in Easter Star. But what I personally will remember him most for, was being my Dad Adviser when I was Master Counselor in DeMolay. He was always there for us boys and was faithful to the craft. He will be sorely missed. His son Tom (also a brother) will be making the funeral arrangements today and will let me know when we will be conducting the Masonic Service. I will send out a separate email with that information, but it will be held at Bacarella Funeral Home. >

Diana Cupps funeral and more sad news

Worshipful Brother Dave Cupp’s wife, Diana Cupp, will start services with visitations Friday at Merkle Funeral Home.

Sadly, 24 hours after her untimely passing, her sister, Donna Lajiness passed away in her home.
Family says they dont think it was related to the passing of Diana, because she had been sick prior to the accident.

The full article is available in the Monroe Evening News. I read the Obituaries and they included the link to the sad passing away of Donna. Donna’s services will begin Friday at Rupp Funeral Home.

A day after Diana Cupp was killed in a car accident in front of Kroger, the family’s grief was compounded when her sister died.

#Donna Lajiness, the oldest of four, died in her home Wednesday, a little more than 24 hours after Mrs. Cupp was killed.

#Bubba Bezeau, who is married to another sister, Debi, said he does not believe the accident contributed directly to her death.

#She had been ill.

#“It’s rough but they’re fighting through it,” Mr. Bezeau said of the family. “Their mother (Mary Lajiness) is taking it pretty hard. She lost two daughters in 24 hours.”

#Mr. Bezeau said the funerals will be held on separate days. Ms. Cupp’s services begin with visitation Friday at Merkle Funeral Home and Ms. Lajiness’ services will be at Rupp Funeral Home in the coming days.

#“They’re doing as well as can be expected,” said Brian Merkle, owner of Merkle Funeral Home and a family friend. “They’re having a hard time right now.”

#Mr. Bezeau, coach of the Monroe High School baseball team, said he was impressed when he showed up for practice and saw the entire team standing in line waiting to greet him with hugs and handshakes.

#“That is one bunch of respectful kids,” he said. “It made me feel great.”

#Mr. Bezeau said he told the boys to be smart, don’t be afraid to ask for help if they ever need it and appreciate family and friends.

#“When they’re here, you gotta love ’em,” Mr. Bezeau said.

#Mr. Bezeau’s wife was at Kroger shopping and saw the accident that killed her sister. He said his wife is having a hard time with both losses so soon.

#“She just doesn’t know why it’s happening,” he said.

#As far as the teenager who is charged with causing the chase and accident, Mr. Bezeau said he hasn’t given him much thought.

#“I don’t have any feelings for him,” he said. “I just hope justice is true. He took a precious life away.”
