Desserts for tomorrow March 2014

Brothers,
Worshipful Brother Jason Gribble has the hard task of preparing tomorrow nights dinner for the Master Mason Degree. If you could, please remember to bring a dessert so our candidates, many guests and brothers have an enjoyable meal prior to our start. Dinner is at 5:30pm and we will kick off the degree at 6:30pm.
See you all there!
Fraternally,
Brian

> Hello brothers!
> Still doesn’t look like Spring to me! This Wednesday we will be putting on a Master Mason Degree. As I mentioned in my last email, I will be out of town, so our Senior Warden Brian Fauls will be taking the reins. Next Wednesday, 4/2 we will be having our euchre tournament. Starts at 6pm and pizza will be provided. Cabela’s gift cards go to the most points and most loners. Our Country breakfast is Saturday 4/5 from 7-10 – everyone is welcome. >

> Hello Brothers,
> Well, we got a glimpse of Spring before the cold weather again took over. One thing is for sure – Spring will come…..eventually! This Wednesday (3/19) we have our Temple Board Meeting at 5:30. We are having it early to give us time to get over to Manor School for our scheduled Chip program. We need help, so I’m counting on as many of you to make it as possible. Next Wednesday (3/26) we will be putting on a Master Mason degree. Unfortunately I will be out of the country on business once again, but our Senior Warden Brian Fauls has agreed to step up to the plate to fill in. If you weren’t at our regular communication last week, we kicked off our Spring fundraiser of selling PartyLite candles. I’m challenging each brother to sell at least 5 candles – that shouldn’t be too hard, right? We receive 50% of the the sales as profit! If you didn’t get an order form, you can pick one up at the Temple on the “merchandise” table. >

> Hello Brothers,
> Well, we had a nice weekend, but it doesn’t look like winter is finished with us yet – supposed to get more snow Wednesday! Speaking of this Wednesday, we will have our regular communication…Dinner at 6pm and open at 7pm. We will probably open on the FC degree. Next week (3/19) we will have our monthly Temple Board meeting a bit earlier because of the CHIP program we are doing at Manor school – that starts at 6:30 and we definitely need help with this, so plan to come. Mark your calendars for March 26th, as we will have a MM degree for 3 brothers! We’ll start this early as well, with dinner at 5:30 and open at 6:30. >

Funeral Arrangements Frank Breeding

>
> Hello Brothers!
> Once again I am sad to report that one of our Brothers has passed. Bro. Frank Breeding, who would have been a Mason 60 years at the end of this month, passed on Saturday. His Masonic service will be on Wednesday at 6:30 at Rupp Funeral Home, so please be there by 6:15. We will have to again delay (~7:15) our opening for our scheduled EA degree this Wednesday to accommodate the service. Just a reminder that I will be out of the country on business, so W. Bro. John Trout will be filling in for me as Master. Next week (3/12) is our regular communication – dinner at 6pm and open at 7pm. >

Funeral Arrangements for Clayton

>
> Hello Brothers,
> I just got a call from Bacarella, and here are the details: >
> Visitation Wednesday, 4-8pm
> Eastern Star memorial service 6:30
> Masonic service 6:45
>
> Now I know that this conflicts with our scheduled Red Coat degree, but I feel we need to make an exception in this case and delay our start time this Wednesday. Our service usually lasts about 15 minutes, so we should be done by 7:00. If we show up early at the funeral home to visit and show our respects, then we should be able to leave right after the service and get to the lodge at 7:30 (7:45 latest) for opening. W. Bro. Clayton was a dear brother, and I’m sure I can count on everyone for a good turnout. Please start the fannout call list, if you see your person is not on this email. >

> Hello brothers!
> This Wednesday (2/26) we will be conducting a Fellowcraft degree, put on by our Red Coats. Don’t miss it – we will have multiple candidates! This Saturday (3/1) is our famous (or infamous) Country Breakfast from 7am to 10am – all you care to eat! Next week, on 3/5 we will be conducting an EA degree, complete with the Chamber of Reflection. Unfortunately, I will be out of town for this one, but W. Bro. John Trout will take the reins and perform the degree.
> On a sad note, I regret to inform you that our dear brother, W. Bro. Clayton Heiss passed on Saturday the 22nd. Clayton was a Mason for more than 63 years, served as Secretary for our lodge for many years, was Master of Blanchard lodge, and was very active in Easter Star. But what I personally will remember him most for, was being my Dad Adviser when I was Master Counselor in DeMolay. He was always there for us boys and was faithful to the craft. He will be sorely missed. His son Tom (also a brother) will be making the funeral arrangements today and will let me know when we will be conducting the Masonic Service. I will send out a separate email with that information, but it will be held at Bacarella Funeral Home. >

> Hello Brothers!
> Hope you all are staying warm in frigid Michigan! Sorry I didn’t get this out on Monday as usual, but I am in training all week, so my schedule is a bit off. Today (Wed.) we have our regular communication – dinner at 6pm and open at 7pm. We will open on the EA degree to give our newly made brothers a chance to see how we conduct our business. Next Wednesday (2/19) is Temple Board, and 2 weeks from today (2/26) is our FC degree. This will be a Red Coat degree and we will pass 3 brothers. >

> Hello brothers,
> I hope this communication finds you all well. This Wednesday will be our first Euchre tournament of the year. We will start at 6pm, and cost to enter is $10. Prizes for highest points and most loners this week will be Cabela’s gift cards! We will also have pizza, so invite all your friends and family – everyone is welcome! Speaking of pizza, I’d like to get a preliminary headcount to know how much to get, so if you could let me know if you are coming and how many guests you are bringing, that would be great. >
